Frederico was an amazing tour guide and gave us an excellent tour of the Convent of Christ, and explained the history of the Knights Templar and the history of Tomar. He is clearly very knowledgeable on the subject and his passion and storytelling really brought the place to life.! he was very communicative and really helped us with our travel plans from Lisbon to meet him for this tour. We highly recommend Frederico as a tour guide and recommend his tour with him. It was so interesting and we’re so glad that we took it.

Monica was amazing! She is the best tour guide that we have ever had in over 25 years of taking walking tours. This was an amazing tour of Tomar thanks to her. Her passion and knowledge helped us envision life in Tomar in the past and understand the history. We also enjoyed the unique matchbox museum. she went out of her way to make our trip memorable, and I don’t know what we would have done without her. thanks to her Tomar is one of our favorite places. Monica really took an interest in our travels and helped us plan the rest of our trip, and we were so lucky to be able to book other tours with her. We can’t say enough about this wonderful woman and highly recommend her tour and recommend her as a tour guide!!!please tour with her! you will not regret it!

She has so much knowledge of the history of Tomar and the Knights Templars and is passionate about the subject She is also very friendly and takes great care of everybody on the tour making sure that it moves at the right pace for all and that people are aware of steps etc which was a lovely touch. If you are going to Tomar I highly recommend joining Monica's tour

Frederico was extremely knowledgeable. While many areas of the convent are under restoration, the areas we visited were overwhelmingly beautiful and Frederico's knowledge of Portuguese history is vast. This was our first experience with Guru Walk and we enjoyed this tour very much.
