About the Tour

When you are visiting the province of Chiriquí , and you find yourself with a free time after finishing business, walks or excursions in the open air, you may find yourself with a chance to visit the city of David.
It is an obligatory step between trips from coasts, mountains and borders due to its position on the Pan-American highway, international airport and marine port.

On the tour you will be able to visit areas of commercial, historical and cultural interest in the central area of the city of David.

While we walk between the sites, we will see the day to day in the street , the historical buildings and we will visit the premises with samples of cultural expressions and archaeological finds made in Chiriquí.
The history of this region is vast, since before colonial times.
This experience mixes the knowledge of the hermitage, which has undergone development and expansion for almost 200 years. We can visit the rooms of La Casona , also known as the neighborhood museum, the Casa Culturama , which is located in a traditional house from the 19th century.
We will meet in the Cervantes park to start the tour until we reach the Bolívar neighborhood , we will know from the commercial area to the historic area, where we still find the rural houses of yesteryear, art murals and the legends of Chirican history.
You will be able to try classic sandwiches of the local gastronomy such as milk eggs and cocadas, cheese or almojabano.

I recommend starting early, usually the rain is in the afternoons in the months of April to December.

Meeting point: Open in Google Maps

How to find me: I'll be in front of the church
