Free Tour Anne Frank: a cry for life
Tour description
Anne Frank: a cry for life
Come learn the history of the most famous newspaper ever written. The voice of a girl who dreamed of a better world and who did so with her pen, that of a teenage girl crying out for freedom. Freedom from Nazi oppression but also freedom for women and freedom for teenagers around the world. The idealistic, visionary and rebellious Anne.
This tour begins at the entrance to Artis , the city's zoo - where more than 250 Jews hid during the Nazi occupation. From there we will go through the Jewish quarter, stopping at places where some of the most important events took place during the Second World War; as are the limits of the Jewish ghetto, the morgue of the 'Church of the South', the Auschwitz monument, Dam Square and the war memorial.
The content of the tour deals in depth with the life of Anne Frank and her memoirs written in the diary she received for her thirteenth birthday. These are some of the main points:
- Origins of the Frank family
- First years in the city of Amsterdam
- Nazi invasion of the Netherlands
- Escape to hideout
- The hidden years
- Transfer to Auschwitz
This is a tour created entirely by me, with real photos that will transport you to the facts and with the greatest respect and admiration for the story of a young libertarian. Do not hesitate to sign up and see first-hand the experience of Nazi oppression. Knowing history helps us not to repeat the same mistakes.
* The minimum number of attendees for the tour to take place is 4 people
