Tour description

Bring London’s dark history to life on this sinister free walking tour!

As the lights go down and darkness falls, this free walking tour will introduce you to the murky world of crime and punishment in London with gruesome true stories including Jack The Ripper where you’ll visit the last remaining site of his famous murders.

You’ll discover the truth behind London’s criminal history and visit the Criminal Court that is home to ‘Deadmans Walk’, all whilst finding the historic landmark which lays claim to being the oldest execution site in the city.

Along the way you’ll hear many of London’s most famous criminal stories as you relive the ‘heist of the century’ at the Bank of England, recount the story of the Great Train Murder at Fenchurch Street and discover which historic crime inspired a classic Charles Dickens novel.

As you make your way through the dark streets of London you’ll discover the background of London’s most infamous criminals and their most henious of crimes whilst getting up close to many of London’s historic (and perhaps haunted) criminal locations including the Tower of London, The Old Bailey and St Paul’s Cathedral on a walking tour that explores the true London and a past long forgotten.
