Free Tour Mysteries and Legends of Belfast
It all started with the exciting idea of sharing the stories of this interesting city. After several conversations in the Kelly's Cellar pub, the Free Tour of Belfast in Spanish was born. We are delighted to welcome you to this city. We invite you to join us in exploring “the wee city”. What better way to understand the history, the people and the stories that helped shape this city, from the early days of the Norman Conquest, through the arrival of the English and the industrialization revolution to Belfast today with one of our passionate Guides.
The streets of Belfast are home to countless mysteries and legends.
Discover the darkest history of Belfast, stories of murders and crimes from the Victorian era, executions, ghosts, mythological beings...
We will meet next to the sculpture of the Salmon of Wisdom. At this point we will begin to discover the most disturbing mysteries and legends of Belfast. We will discover all the secrets about the Celtic festival of Samhain , origin of the world-famous celebration of Halloween.
Afterwards, we will enter the streets of the Cathedral Quarter to "get lost" in the oldest streets of Belfast.
We will continue to discover the mysteries and legends of Belfast in other well-known places in the city, such as the Smithfield market, the Central Library and the neighborhood of the Cathedral of Saint Anne, in front of which we will learn the story of a drunk and troublemaker, who fled from his cell shaken by the presence in his dungeon of a gloomy ghost... Do you know what decision the judge took in the face of this fact?
The best quality is guaranteed on our tour because it is tip-based. Your guide does not receive any payment from the city or company, but will accept a tip at the end of the tour if you wish to leave one. Please feel free to leave a tip according to your budget and according to how much you enjoyed the tour
