Walks & Talks - The highlights of Split (Small group tours)
Tour description
Join me for a walk through the heart of Split — where Roman walls still hold stories, and daily life flows through a palace over 1700 years old.
This is not just any tour. We’ll explore the highlights of Diocletian’s Palace, but also the small things that make this place alive today — the lived-in corners, hidden courtyards, and the everyday lives of people who still call the palace home.
Yes, people still live here. That’s what makes Split so special. You’re not stepping into a museum. You’re stepping into someone’s neighborhood.
I keep the group small — never more than 15 people — so you can ask questions, hear clearly, and enjoy a more personal, relaxed pace. No umbrellas in the air. No rushing.
The tour lasts about 1 hour and 15 minutes, and I always leave time afterward for local tips — where to eat, what to avoid, and how to keep exploring on your own.
If you feel the tour added something meaningful to your visit, a respectful tip of 15 to 20 euros per person is the usual way to say thank you. It’s a kind gesture for the time, care and stories I share along the way.
If you’re wondering anything before or during the tour — ask. There are no silly questions here.
Curious about a private tour or something tailor-made? Just send me a message — I’d love to hear what you’re looking for.
