Tour description

Modern day Barcelona is increasingly becoming a city focused on fast tourism, which involves visiting commercialized destinations within the time limits and does not provide the possibility of enjoying the destination.
You will suffer no shortage of people trying to sell you things everywhere.
What I want to offer here is the possibility for you to see the city from a local point of view, through the eyes of someone who has spent most of his life walking around the magic streets of Barcelona. The Barcelona of the people.
I will take you through the most emblematic places around the center of Barcelona while telling you the history and anecdotes behind them.
We will start the tour at "Arc the Triomf", we will follow to "Parc de la Ciutadella" to later enter the iconic "Barri del Born" and finally finish our amazing tour at "Barri Gotic" where we will explore all the nooks and crannies of the oldest part of town.
I think Barcelona is a magical place with indescribable beauty.
I don't think much compares to this single place.

I followed the App of yours and the directions from the App. I was standing exactly where the Guruwalk app told me to be there. I looked for anyone with an umbrella or something, at around 10.15 I sent a message to the tour guide and I walked again to look in front of the arc and again to look behind it I stayed another 30-35 minutes but no answer was received from the tour guide which was very disappointing

We arrived at the meeting location before the tour start time. Victor did not show, did not contact us and did not response to message we sent him in the guruwalk message webpage. We left after 20 minutes.

By taking a taxi, we made it to the meeting point at 10:01. The agreed time was 10:00. However, Victor did not indicate a specific area at the Arc de Triomf or a sign to look for to identify him as the Guru Walk guide. We walked around the area inquiring from other tour groups. We also sent him messages if he was in the area via the app but never got a reply. We left after waiting 30 minutes.

Really disappointed as we booked this tour well in advance and we were going to use it as a basis to get a better understanding of the city on the first day of our first trip to Barcelona. Arrived at the agreed location 20 minutes before the start of the walk at 4-30. No sign of Victor so we emailed him and messaged Guru Walk and heard nothing other than from a central booking system. We spoke to another person who was waiting for the same walk but this was scheduled to start at 5-00! Complete shambles and a very unwelcome start to our holiday in Barcelona.
