Tour description
General tour for the season of beautiful landscapes and extraordinary viewpoints. "Sunset on the Cerro de la Cruz"
We will meet in the central square, exactly at the City Hall, where the UNESCO Declaration Plaque for Antigua as a World Heritage Site is located. 4pm.
We begin with a brief historical description of the square, the cathedral, the captains' palace, the town hall and the mermaid fountain.
Then continue along Calle del Arco to take some photos and continue to La Merced for a brief history of the last building built in the city.
We continue along the Alameda Santa Rosa, the convent of Santa Teresa and continue to the hill of the cross.
We will stay on the hill observing the city and the sunset of our fascinating experience in the colonial city of Antigua Guatemala.
We will learn about:
Cathedral and the beginnings of the city.
The Colonial Government Palace.
The Noble City Council.
The Fountain of the Sirens.
Arch of Santa Catarina
La Merced.
Ruins of Saint Teresa of Avila.
Hill of the Cross.
Conditions and terms:
We ask all our participants to do the following:
1. Be at the meeting point on time.
