I was born in this beautiful country of Montenegro and I believe that all people, at least once in their lives, should visit it. It is great for all types of travelers, whether those who like to travel full of adrenaline or those who like slow and easy days. Accordingly, I am ready to offer city tours lasting 2-3 hours, or on special requests, weekend gastro-wine tours, or full-day tours in Montenegro. Tour description

If no schedules are available for the selected date, please get in touch with me. Maybe someone won’t come but didn’t cancel.

Please cancel your booking at least 24 hours prior if you are not genuinely interested in my tour. Last-minute cancelation in less than 24 hours doesn’t help. Other walkers plan in advance, and they’ll find the tour unavailable because of the false bookings.

The tour starts in the oldest part of Podgorica city, in front of the Clock Tower, on the side looking at the clock, at Becir Beg Osmanagic Square.

As we walk along the narrow streets of “Old Varosh,” you will see essential monuments and townhouses and learn more about the old part of the city, its medieval ramparts, and the old bridge at the confluence of two rivers.
From the Ottoman period to the latest history, I am going to tell you some exciting stories.
The tour ends in front of the Fountain at Independence Square.

Tour Include (mention):

  • Clock Tower and Old Town
  • Starodoganjska Mosque
  • Depedogen Fortress
  • Stone bridge on Sastavci (river Ribnica Bridge)
  • King’s Nikola Monument
  • Petar II Petrovic Njegos’s Park and Monument
  • National Theatre
  • Bokeska Street
  • Municipality Building and Statue of Marko Miljanov
  • Library
  • Independence Square (formerly Square of the Republic)

Additional Information:

The tour includes walking on stairs, but nothing strenuous. Choose walking shoes/sneakers that perform equally well in changing weather conditions. Also, don’t forget to bring water and a hat/sunscreen during summer. I’ll try to find some shade, though :)

- Summer - 3
- Rest of the year - 2
(If this number is not reached, the booking will be canceled).
 - The tour will be called off if a hailstorm or heavy rain leads to street flooding along the route or being unsafe due to hail stones.
- During the summer, the tour will be canceled if the temperature goes above 38° Celsius.

Tatjana is such a pro and knows her stuff inside out! She's super passionate about what she does, and I learned some mind-blowing facts and history about the small town in Podgorica. From the mosque to the orthodox churches, the architecture, and even stories from World War, she covered it all. And let me tell you, the nature views she took me to were absolutely jaw-dropping! I've never seen anything so beautiful in my life. She even showed me around the modern city with its buzzing cafes. I can't thank Tatjana enough for the incredible tour! Highly recommend it to anyone, but if you're not interested, just cancel via the app so others can have this amazing opportunity. Big thanks again!

Was a very nice tour lead by Tatjana and I learned a lot about Podgorica. It rained the whole time which spoiled the tour slightly but the weather is not Tatjana’s fault and I thank her for running the tour in the rain!!
