It was a very informative tour! Kan educated us on the Lanna people (Kingdom before Thai), Buddhism (he went to monk school for 3 years), history of North Thailand, Differences in architecture, how to pay respects in Thailand (temple, Royal family, elders), taught us of the history of Chiang Mai, showed us different herbs along the walk, treated us to traditional Thai snacks, demonstrated Buddhist prayer, and demonstrated Black magic too. Very interesting overall and unlike other Guru walks I have been on. Note, the admission for the final temple is about 50 Baht and Guru Walk Grat is about 400 Baht. Well worth it!

Very nice and funny guide, always smiling, told us about the history of the city, budism and traditions. We visited a few temples and tried food from different markets/street shops. I would reccomend 100%.

Amazing tour! A great mix of legends, history, culture, food, and religion! I was blown away by the level of detail that our guide went into and by his enthusiasm! Take the tour if you want an overview of everything (not exaggerating) there is to know about Chiang Mai... You won't be disappointed!
