Tour description

Explore the charm of Santa Marta's historic center with a Rent Bike.

Discover Santa Marta like never before on our exclusive bike tour of its iconic Historic Center. This tour isn't just a guided tour; it's a deep dive into the essence of Colombia's oldest city. We'll take you through streets steeped in history, where every corner holds a secret and every square whispers legends of the past.

What makes this tour unique:

  • Bolívar Park: We begin our adventure in the majestic Bolívar Park, the vibrant heart of the city, where you'll feel the pulse of Santa Marta while surrounded by history and colonial architecture. Here, every tree and every bench has a story, and the statue of Simón Bolívar invites you to learn more about Colombia's independence.
  • Customs House: We continue on to the Customs House, now the Tairona Gold Museum. This historic building is not only one of the oldest in the city, but also houses archaeological treasures that tell the story of the lives of the region's ancient inhabitants.
  • Camellón de la Bahía and Statue of Rodrigo de Bastidas: We pedal toward the Camellón de la Bahía, one of the most impressive views of the Caribbean, where the statue of Rodrigo de Bastidas, founder of Santa Marta, stands proudly in front of the iconic El Morro hill.
  • Santa Marta International Marina: We visited the modern marina, a meeting point for locals and travelers looking to enjoy the sea breeze, the gentle swaying of yachts, and the spectacular view of the Sierra Nevada in the background.
  • Parque de Los Novios: Our next stop is the romantic Parque de Los Novios, the perfect place to feel the local energy, surrounded by cafes and restaurants that invite you to relax and enjoy the atmosphere.
  • Cathedral Basilica of Santa Marta: Don't miss the imposing Cathedral Basilica, the oldest in South America, where the history of faith and colonization intertwine on every wall of this monumental building.
