Tour description

The Alcazar of Jerez is, without a doubt, one of the main attractions of the medieval heritage of our city .

Since the beginning of Muslim rule in the Peninsula, this fortress was the residence of the governors and kings who directed the destinies of Jerez.

On our guided tour, we will take a tour of its main enclaves, among which the baths and the mosque stand out, perfectly preserved, and the Royal Pavilion. We will also go up to the octagonal tower , from which we will have a panoramic view of the Islamic medina and the surroundings of Jerez at that time.

Undoubtedly, this tour will give us an idea of the function and characteristics of this center of power located at the top of the two hills that made up the Andalusian Jerez medina , crossed by a stream next to which the main mosque was also built. from the city.
