Tour description

Discover Tetouan from its Wall and its (Alcazaba of the Avides).
Wonderful guided tour of Tetouan from another point of view.
We will start the tour at Muley Almehdi Square, at the Church of Our Lady of Victories, then we will visit Feddan Square to observe from below how the old medina of Tetouan merges with the Spanish Expansion.
We will climb to the Alcazaba passing through the Wall gate (Bab Nouader) to ascend to the Alcazaba of the Avides to enjoy spectacular views of the Medina of Tetouan and the Rif Mountain Range, and we will also see the Mediterranean Sea on clear days.
Next, we will pass through the 15th-century tannery and the artisan neighborhoods to reach another Wall gate, Bab Saida, and then arrive at Bab Okla, the most spectacular gate of the Medina where the ethnographic museum and the school of arts and crafts of Tetouan are located!
From there, we will pass through the gardens of Muley Almehdi or the park of lovers, from where we will observe the old train station now converted into the Tetouan Museum of Modern Art, and ascend through Bab Remuz to climb Luneta Street and end our tour at the Royal Palace.
