Hi! We are Penny and Nemu 👋🏿 So you're coming to Frankfurt? Welcome! We grew up in this city and we're happy to show you all the wonderful things we love about it. After high school, Penny traveled the world for a year and discovered the concept of the free walking tour. And as a passionate frankfurter and history nerd he decided after his return to host guests in his city and to show them around. Nemu is a history student at the Goethe University, knows Frankfurt very well and is as passionate at being a guide for visitors as Penny. We are extroverted, very hospitable, welcoming and passionate. Both of us have always been very interested in history, which is why we can provide a lot of facts about Frankfurt, Germany and Europe on the tour. However, as the sons of refugees, we can also offer interesting insights and a different perspective into Germany's most diverse city. We are looking forward to your visit in Frankfurt, see you soon!

Tour description

WELCOME TO FRANKFURT!

Frankfurt is a unique, complicated and often overlooked city and therefore it takes a unique tour to truly understand the city.

On the guided visit we look up at modern skyscrapers and travel through time viewing the "medieval" old town. We talk about the different cultural influences that make our city so colorful and how they affect society.

We learn how Frankfurt connects and changes the world, from Germany's largest airport to the European Central Bank, but also how this city has always been a center for literature, from Goethe and the annual book fair to Frankfurt as the center of German hip-hop.

This tour is for those who want a fun walk through all the best places in Frankfurt, while learning about the city’s immense history in an amusing and memorable way!

All the main tourist destinations are visited on this tour, but also our personal insider tips that are often forgotten. These include, among others:

  • The Old Opera House
  • "The Food Alley"
  • The Goethe House
  • St. Paul's Church
  • The Old Town
  • The Love Bridge

Thank you for your interest in our tour and we look forward to showing you around soon!

 :)
