We just finished up our tour with Carlos and couldn’t recommend him enough! He was so informative and was able to answer any questions we had. He brought us to taste different local fruits and foods from the markets and showed us many locations that would be good to return to. He gave us such a good insight into Santa Ana and was very charismatic and enjoyable to spend a couple of hours with. If you’re looking for an excellent walking tour of Santa Ana I would definitely recommend Carlos! ~ Alannah and Jack

Gino was an absolute legend, thoroughly entertaining throughout genuinely didnt stop laughing throughout. Super knowledgeable with so much info about the city and the food. Getting to experience all the local food to was truly awesome 😁 this is an absolute must do for anyone visiting the city!!

Genuinely one of the best tours I’ve ever had. We had just finished climbing the volcano and were quite tired, but thought to proceed with the tour. Carlos was fantastic. He was full of energy, character and knowledge, and his jokes made him a great company throughout the tour. We started in the city square, made our way to the churches and historical buildings, enjoyed the local cuisine and visited the markets. He told us about the history of the city, the gangs that formerly operated and changes to life of El Salvadorians following the new government. He also has some interesting stories and experiences prior to becoming a tour guide. Our favourite part of the tour was the opportunity to try local food - we had the pastry snacks, the fruit and the white corn, and loved it. He was very attentive to our questions and personalised the tour around us as well. I highly recommend this tour if you’re in the city - it’s definitely not one to miss out on. Thank you so much Carlos!

Really great walking tour with Carlos. He explained lots of the history, showed me the churches, markets, recommended which places to eat that serve typical Salvadorian cuisine, and shared new fruits with me. Carlos was kind, offered lots of knowledge and was funny. Highly recommend this tour, don't think about it, just book it 🌞

Great tour, would highly recommend while in Santa Ana. Hector gave us a great insight into his life here and history of Santa Ana. We also tried some amazing Salvadorian food from the local market.

Hector was a great guide and told us a lot about the city he grew up in! It was super interesting and very insightful getting this first-hand information from him! The food tour around the market was great too, and we got to taste so many local dishes :))) Can only recommend it!!

We had the most amazing walking tour with Carlos this afternoon. He showed us so many local spots, things to sample and taste and gave so many great recommendations on things to do so I would highly reccomend starting your trip in Santa Ana with this walking tour. He was amazing at giving an insight into the history and answered all our questions. It is a must do tour with Carlos when you come to Santa Ana!!!
