Can’t wait to hang out!
Just a really good tour with lots of surprises and all the information everyone needed.
Unfortunately I was a bit let down by the tour with Héctor, especially after it being recommended by so many people. I'd previously done tours with Gio and Fatima and they were both AMAZING - great fun, heaps of food and in depth discussion of recent history and Q and A (and with groups of 5-8, instead of 20+). Maybe we got him on an off day, but Hector didn't really provide that much apart from visiting a couple of food stalls and then sitting at a coffee shop doing some Q&A. He also says often he has groups of 30-40, even with 20-25 it was way to big to navigate the market comfortably. Also, we all put in about $5 (seperate from the tip) for the food - and for that we got to try a couple of small bites, some granadias and some juices.. Whereas with Gio we managed to have an entire feast putting in the same amount each. As I say, this just could be an off day with Héctor, as he is clearly a very experienced guide - but from my personal experience I'd recommend Gio or Fatima if you only have time for one tour in Santa Ana!
