I was recommended Hector’s walking tour a couple of times and had read great things about it online and I totally understand why! The walking tour was one of the best I’ve been on and Hector seemed more like a friend than a guide! He shared lots of information about El Salvador and Santa Ana, answered any questions people had and gave lots of great recommendations! He then brought us to the market where we got to try tons of delicious local food! If you get the chance to take the tour I highly recommend it!

Hector is the man! Best walking tour I've ever done. Very professional but also such a friendly guy and happy to go with the vibe of the group. Hector knows anything and everything about Santa Ana/El Salvador and he won't hesitate to tell you whatever you want to know! Highly recommend

I’ve been on many walking tours, but this was unique. It’s refreshing to have someone arrive and not follow the same old narrative. Hector is Hector, and that’s a positive, meaning you get a real sense of what it means for him to be an El Savadorian. If you want an idea of what it was like growing up here and how politics and the country’s past troubles shaped him vs the same old waffle about colonial churches then get yourself booked up! Oh, and there’s food.
