Goooooood morning, Vietnam! I am Joseph, an experienced travel planner and licensed tourist guide from Detour Asia, a boutique travel operator based in Ho Chi Minh City. I organize day and multi-day tours in and around popular destinations in Vietnam such as Hanoi, Hue, Hoi An, and Ho Chi Minh city. Chinatown, also known as Cholon which covers a broad area, including District 5, part of Districts: 6, 8, 10, and 11 in Ho Chi Minh City. This place is now a significant commercial center of the Chinese in Ho Chi Minh City which still preserves the precious values of culture, religion and architecture dating back thousands of years. The pipe-shaped tiled roofs in Chinatown streets combining with typical Chinese architectures feature a unique classic beauty.

Address: 57A Tháp Mười, Phường 2, Quận 6, Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh 700900, Vietnam How to get there: by grab taxi, or by public bus #1 from Ben Thanh Bus Terminal. The Market is about 30 minute drive from your hotel, so please leave extra time to arrive.
