Welcome to Kathmandu. I am looking forward to showing you around the monk Boudha, Pipalbot and bahundara. These are very important Mongolian cultural places for our people.
We will start at the entrance to Boudha and walk around the monk, exploring the cultural icons scattered around the site. After a short walk, we will try a favorite local snack, Momo, at a rooftop cafe.
Then we will head towards Krishna Temple to witness the Hindu religion. Afterwards we will walk to the small high snake hill called Krishna Dara, where you can witness a different people. And finally it will take you to a local market!
Come prepared with questions and walk for 1 to 2 hours.
We will meet at the entrance of the Boudha temple at 3:00 p.m. and should finish no later than 6:00 p.m. I will be holding a small drawing of a Nepalese flag and will be waiting near the main entrance.
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
