So now I have the badge of incredible India tourist facilitator badge which was issued by Ministry of tourism, government of India.Presently I am conducting tours in Uttarpradesh, Delhi & Rajasthan state.For last 5 years, i am hosting free walking tours, food walks,night walks,Heritage walks, full day & half-day city tours.Also, I have worked with the Yo Tours company for 5 years which is very well known & popular in India & abroad. I have done my graduation in 2014 from BHU University as well as I have completed my master's degree of Tourism in the year 2017. I am passionate about traveling, blogging & cooking food. Tour description

Hi, welcome to the spiritual and heritage tour in Varanasi.
I am about to take you on a journey inwards. this walk experience is very different from when we go on any tour, we are exploring and experiencing places and things that are outside, but on this tour, we will be taking a journey inward also. you will just not explore the city but also feel it.
    

Itinerary of tour:

  • Start the tour at Hotel Ganges Grand. 
  • Walk through Bangali Tola Gali, a narrow alley famous for its street art and paintings. Next stop for a snack at Dadaji da Daba, a popular local eatery that serves delicious chaat and other snacks.   
  • Moving forward, visit Khicadi Baba Temple, a small temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.   
  • Explore the bustling vegetable market and learn about the different types of products that are grown and sold in Varanasi. 
  • Next visit Dashashwamedh Ghat, one of the most famous and vibrant ghats in Varanasi.   
  • Next visit the Nepali Temple, a unique temple that was built by Nepali artisans.  
  • Moving forward, walk through the Kashi Corridor, a narrow alleyway that connects several ghats.  
  • Finally, visit the Burning Ghat, where cremations take place 24 hours a day. Learn about the customs and traditions around death in Varanasi and gain a unique perspective on life and death in the city.
  • The tour will conclude at the Burning Ghat, and the guide will be happy to assist you in arranging transportation back to your hotel or next destination.

    Nepali Temple

    The Nepali Temple in Varanasi is a replica of the famous Pashupatinath Temple in Kathmandu. There is evidence to suggest that the land was actually transferred by the ruler of Varanasi to the Nepalese king back in 1843. The temple offers magnificent views of Varanasi and the holy River Ganges.The temple presents a beautiful opportunity to observe and appreciate the art of Kama Sutra carved out of wood.

    Manikarnika Ghat

    Manikarnika Ghat is a sacred cremation site located on the banks of the Ganges River in the holy city of Varanasi, India. The ghat is a popular and important Hindu pilgrimage site, where the remains of the dead are cremated and their souls are believed to ascend to the heavens. Every day, hundreds of people come to Manikarnika Ghat to witness the cremations and to pay their respects to the dead.

    Kashi Chat Bhandar

    Kashi Chaat Bhandar is one of the famous shops of Varanasi. Kashi Chaat Bhandar is famous for its taste in the country and abroad. You will get to taste different types of chaat here. Kashi Chaat Bhandar has its own tomato chaat and potato tikki. Most famous for chaat. Kashi Chaat Bhandar is still retaining its old taste and flavours. Apart from this, the chaat found here is served in two leaves and in a kulhad. Due to which the taste of this chaat increases manifold.

    Dashashwamedh Ghat

    Dashashwamedh Ghat is thousands of years old. Dashashwamedh Ghat means the sacrifice of ten horses. The most important aspect of the Dashashwamedh Ghat is the evening, Ganga Arti, performed in every evening at 6.30 PM. The Arti is offered to Lord Shiva, Maa Ganga, Suryadev, Agnidev and Brahma.     Vishwanath Gali is famous for street shopping in Varanasi. A variety of items are sold in the bustling gali at affordable rates. Jain is a very friendly guide. We could follow all his descriptions and stories. He gave very good answers to all of our questions. At the end of the tour we were a little confused because we did a different tour as the description said.
