Tour description

Meeting spot: the entrance of Hôtel de la Marine, facing Concorde square. I will be waiting for you with a purple umbrella.

In the timeless words of Sacha Guitry,

“Being a Parisian is not about being born in Paris, it is about being reborn there.”

Today, I invite you to embark on a journey that will connect you with the heart and soul of Paris. Let's explore the essence of this enchanting place, which has been my home for the past 12 years.

Our adventure begins at the iconic Place de la Concorde, a vantage point that offers a splendid panorama of Paris.

From here, we can admire the stately Assemblée Nationale and the Invalides, the elegant Madeleine church, the iconic Eiffel Tower and Hotel de la Marine with the majestic Arc de Triomphe and Hotel Crillon as well as the Grand Palais standing proudly on the horizon.

Our next stop takes us through the enchanting Tuileries Garden then we will appreciate the Louvre Museum's exquisite architecture from the outside, a testament to the city's rich cultural heritage.

Continuing our exploration to the Conciergeerie, we'll pass by Pont des Arts, New Bridge, the Samaritaine department store and Place Dauphine.   Here I give you a quick course on French Gastronomy and we'll savour a macaron.

Our journey will then lead us to the the oldest public clock in Paris, Palais de la Justice, and the ethereal Sainte-Chapelle.
We will continue our journey via Saint Michel and the Latin quarter to have a look at the city's oldest tree, the iconic Shakespeare and Company bookstore and finally, Notre Dame.

So, let's embrace this adventure and discover the magic of Paris—the City of Light.

This tour was great! Dora did an amazing job of covering so much of Paris and its history/culture. As first time visitors, we appreciated her overview of different popular foods, too! Her recommendations helped us throughout our stay in Paris!

Trotz der Länge der Tour ein kurzweiliges, spannendes Erlebnis mit einer sympathischen und charismatischen Reiseführerin! Der perfekte Einstieg in eine Reise nach Paris mit kulinarischer Überraschung.

She is lovely, the explanation of places quick and objective for me is amazing, she offer a Macarron and is always respecting the level of the group as if is fast or slowly, also always stop in a place that who need site have a chance to sit. I super recommend her.
