Hello 👋🏽 My name is Carlos, I am a world traveler, and just like you I have taken countless free walking tours around many cities across the globe. I am permanently based in Barcelona and would love to show you my city in the way I know best... a walking tour! I wish to give you the best experience with my knowledge and expertise and give you special tips on the best places to enjoy this city as much as I do.
Congratulations on selecting the ultimate Sagrada Familia tour! ...I can see you have great taste :)
This tour will focus mainly on the great Sagrada Familia but we will start our tour on the less famous modernist Art Nouveau "Hospital San Pau" both being declared as World Heritage sites by UNESCO.
We will then continue our descent through GaudĂ avenue, a charming promenade lined with trees, cafes, and boutiques. Along this route, you will encounter various significant cultural artifacts that will provide valuable insights into Barcelona's history.
Finally, we will start our Sagrada Tour in a less-known garden overlooking the Sagrada Familia where I will offer you insider tips on capturing the perfect Instagram-worthy picture to commemorate your visit and share with your family and friends.
Our exploration doesn't end there. We'll delve into the secretive intricacies and symbolisms concealed within the Sagrada Familia, unlocking the historical narrative of this remarkable basilica. Our journey will continue as we circumnavigate the block, meticulously examining each of the 3 distinct façades, walking from the North, East, South, and West sides of the block.
We will dive into the life of Antoni GaudĂ himself, delving into the very essence of his vision, his enduring legacy, and the impact that has transcended even after his passing. We will discuss burning questions you might have about the ongoing construction, the ambitious plans for the future, the milestones made, and problems overcome all along the way.
Finally, we will end the tour just at the entrance of the Sagrada Familia. It is important to note that we will not enter the Basilica during our tour, but I will give you enough prior information that can serve as a strong backbone for your experience if you ever decide to enter the basilica afterwards.
What can you expect?
At the end of the tour you will get recommendations for the best places to eat and enjoy for the rest of your trip.
I am so excited to meet you in Barcelona, See you soon!

Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
