I'm an Italian 29-years-old tourist guide that lives in Lisbon. I've moved here for an internship and I decided to stay because I immediately fell in love with the city. Join my tours to experience this vibrant capital city from the point of view of a local and in a funny way. Something more about me: -I have a Bachelor Degree in Languages (English, French and German) -I'm writing my final thesis of a Master's Degree in Tourism & Management -I've lived also in Germany -I've done several jobs in Italy, like travel agent or copywriter for touristic platforms -I was always repeating "I would never live in a capital city" and here I am....

Tour description

How did a small nation like Portugal become the world’s first global empire? What’s the story behind the delicious pastel de Belém? Where is Vasco da Gama buried?

If you are curious to find out the answers to these questions, you can't help but join my free walking tour of Belém, the place from which Portuguese navigators set out to find new sea routes.

We will start by talking about the importance of the military Afonso de Albuquerque, we will stop to taste the real and unique pastel de Belém, we will admire the imposing Jeronimos Monastery and we will enter inside the church of Santa Maria. We will then continue towards the Monument to the Discoveries with the Compass Rose and then finish after a pleasant walk along the ocean shore at the Belém Tower, one of the symbols of Lisbon and one of the most famous places in the city.

Don't miss the opportunity to take this dive into the past with me among anecdotes, legends and curiosities.
