Cecília did a very nice job. We have done many Guru walks around the world. Cecilia’s approach was great. She had lots of energy, was very pleasant and provided in depth historical information. We also like to hear the dark stories of an area as well as specific cultural foods, drinks and practices of the area. I think that the tour could be enhanced with some of that. However, this is the first time that a guru has ever sung to the group. Cecilia’s fado songs were the best part of the tour. They were very moving and meaningful and was a great way to tell a story. Cecilia’s background as an actress was evident in the smooth presentation. Thanks Cecília for a nice tour.

Good tour with a good guide

I really enjoyed touring with Luis! It was more like meeting up with a friend who additionally showed us around, he didn't care about the rainy weather, he wanted to show us as much as possible :) He's really good at telling stories too!

Amazing tour by Jaime. Very insightful. He is a good representation of the Portugal spirit. The poem reading at the end of the tour was really great way to end the tour - my partner and I would say it definitely put us in a saudade mood. Thank you! I highly recommend taking a tour from Jaime.

The tour was very informative and a little surprising how frank and honest the guide was about the Portuguese heroes. Kudos to her for keeping it real. Definitely recommend to anyone who's interested in the maritime and colonial history.

Despite the wet weather, Pedro made the whole trip so entertaining and enriching. We get to learn lots of history and story about Portugal and especially Belém. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Belém!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I wish I could give more than 5 stars, because it truly does not do the tour—or Diogo—justice. We had a fantastic time and thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. While we usually prefer smaller tour groups so we can better interact with the guide and ask questions, Diogo did an excellent job engaging with everyone despite it being a larger group. We especially appreciated how open he was with activity suggestions and sharing helpful information about places all around the city. He also made sure to include breaks to try local food and really take in the scenery and attractions, which made the tour feel relaxed and enjoyable. Overall, I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Lisbon, and it will definitely be one of the first things we do when we come back.

Our guide, Margarita, was excellent. She knew an incredible amount of Portuguese history and was able to relate it is an interesting and engaging way. She kept the pace moving for the entire tour, yet we never felt rushed.

Luis was a very knowledgeable guide who chose the right stopping points to share interesting stories. The restaurant he suggested for lunch after the tour was also very good! A balanced mix of dark history and fun facts that you can very easily miss if you are on your own stolling Belem.
