Born in Spain, daughter of a madrileña and a panamanian, I brought here in my back the sangría and the sancocho to enjoy properly the canals, tulips and windmills. I fell in love with Amsterdam about 15 years ago, and eversince I lived in 6 countries and traveled more than 30... until this city caught me tight. Just one tour, and you'll understand why.
What do you expect when they tell you "We're going to Amsterdam!"?
Let me guess: windmills, canals, little houses, tulips and other flowers that I am not allowed to write about... However, what perhaps you did not know is that you have come to the most international and surprising city in Europe. Did you know that this small city was one of the richest and most influential cities on the planet? That the stock market, capitalism and multinationals had their origins here more than two centuries ago? And that this country has risen from under the water (literally, and continues to grow)? Surely at some point you wondered why houses are like that and why people always ride bicycles, to begin with.
Don't worry, of course we will also talk about windmills and flowers. During this 3-hour tour, I will accompany you to unravel all the secrets of this incredible city so that you don't miss anything.
- The entire tour is done through the city center: there will be a break halfway through the tour, don't worry ;)
- There will be recommendations and survival tips for you and your pocket (transport, food, leisure...) :D
- You can ask whatever you want at any time during the tour. We have come to make the most of the city and we have little time!
- We will visit the most famous and most photographable places, come with batteries!
We meet in Dam Square, under one of the lions next to the obelisk. I will wear the red or white Amsterdameros t-shirt (if it is cold, I will wear a white jacket) and my guide card around my neck ^^
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
