Tour description

Welcome to Chengdu!

In this walking tour, I’d like to show you the most famous spots that the locals and visitors will often go to and present you the real Chengdu casual life in the city parks(People's Park), unique and dynamic streets(Kuan Alley & Zhai Alley), and worth-exploring places “hidden” in the corners of local residences (Mahjong shops/ear scooping venders/brocade craftsman/groceries/street venders...).

Xinhai Qiubao Road Death Memorial is located in the northwest of People's Park. Built in 1913, It was a memorial building to commemorate the martyrs who died in the Sichuan Road Protection Movement in 1911. The Sichuan Road Protection Movement was one of the prominent historical events during the Revolution of 1911(China's anti-imperialist and anti-feudal revolution).
