Tour description

Who sped up innovations in the twentieth century? How did a small town grow into one of the world's leading tech hubs? How did Eindhoven get its nickname? Learn all this and more through the eyes of a local who lived here all her life.

On this tour you will learn about the present and past of Eindhoven and get a glimpse into the future. We will meet the family that put Eindhoven on the map.

You’ll hear about their inventions, how they survived war, how they shaped this city and how the company shaped the daily lives of millions of people - probably including you.

You will see:

The tour will end at de Effenaar, Dommelstraat 2. This is a few minutes from the meeting point and at the start of a street full of great restaurants.
