This is a one man band, every single walk is run by me. No surprises, no cheating, no umbrellas. I have lived and run tours for more than 20 years in Italy, London, Berlin and Barcelona. The Berlin Wall, the six wives of Henry VIII, Michelangelo and Gaudi have no secrets for me. I have also traveled extensively throughout Spain and the world so I am bringing a unique perspective of this wonderful planet and this enchanting city. And last but not the least, I do also have a healthy addiction to books that feeds a truly compelling and passionate storytelling ** profile pic: China wall

Tour description

I have come up with a new exciting, alternative and creative route through the three iconic old barrios: El Born, El Gotico and El Raval ......

From Roman Empire Christian martyrs to medieval inquisition gore; from slavery exploitation to Industrial Revolution working class misery, let me show you THE DARK SIDE of BARCELONA, of which Nobody is willing to tell you.

What’s the Connection between slave trading and Gaudi?

Have you heard of the Vampiress of the Raval

Have you ever considered Live Entombment for a quick path to Enlightenment?

How did the city most celebrated XIX century poet end up as an exorcist ?

Who are the “Indianos” of Barcelona ?

Have you ever seen the most Masonic building in Barcelona ?

Have you visited the Raval, el barrio Chino, former home of anarchists, hookers, gangsters, morphine addicts and damned poets?

Why did Barcelona use to be called the Manchester of Spain

Do you know the story of “Eulalia”, the first Super hero of Barcelona, a feminist icon

Why is the Sagrada Familia an expiatory (atonement) temple

Are you aware that Barcelona was the very first Spanish stage for the class struggle between Capital and Labour?

Did you know that there was an Anarchist Terror attack on Las Ramblas a century earlier than the jihadists?

Did you know that Barcelona was the last city to stop slaves trading in the late xix century?

Why did God’s architect die all alone in an indigents hospital?
