Ottawa’s Westend Neighbourhood Walk - Little Italy, Chinatown, Hintonburg

Welcome to Ottawa!

We’ll start under the colourful Chinatown Arch on Somerset and wander west through three of Ottawa’s most vibrant neighbourhoods. In Chinatown, we’ll learn about the history of one of Ottawa’s most unique neighbourhoods learning about the best authentic restaurants on the way, spot hidden murals, and talk about how this district grew. We’ll turn onto Preston Street in Little Italy for classic espresso-bar culture, family stories, and sweet smelling bakeries (yes there are cannolis). Then we’ll cross the  bridge into hipster Hintonburg, home to indie cafés, local makers, and street art, before finishing at Tunney’s Pasture Station for an easy LRT ride back to downtown.
