Tour description
I will walk you through the humble beginnings of Kuala Lumpur, capital city of Malaysia. She started as a mining town and transformed into an agricultural centre, eventually becoming a financial and services hub over time.
During the four-hour walk, you will enjoy the heritage zone, Central Business District, administrative area, and local residential areas, which are rich in Malay, Indian, and Chinese cultural heritage and delicacies.
Places of interest such as
- Independent Square - this is where the British Colonial started, as well as symbolic places where this country gained independence
- Petaling Street - Chinese community with nice local delicacies
- Bukit Bintang - Central business district with iconic Petronas Twin Towers
- Administration district - Where government offices, parks and memorials
- Little India - Places where rich with Indian culture, buildings, temples, and food.
- Malay village - Local wet market, traditional Malay houses, and delicacies such as Nasi Lemak.
