We had a good time with Balaban às our guide. She is pretty knowledgeable and friendly. I am glad that she was quite patiently tô our group as members were also interested in talking to each other and off the topic conversations happened many times. 😅 I highly recommend this tour if you want to have an intro to history and culture of Kazakhstan and Almaty!

Here's a polished English version: We had a wonderful walking tour of Almaty with Aiguerim and can highly recommend her. She is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about her city. The tour was the perfect mix of interesting information, local insights, and a relaxed atmosphere. It felt more like exploring the city with a good friend than being on a typical guided tour. Aiguerim is a great guide and a really lovely person. She was very informative and really caring. I had a bad foot and am a bit older and she really was very considerate, she made sure we had lots of sitting down in the shade during f the tour, which I really appreciated. She answered all our questions, and I loved going to the bazaar and trying the local delicacies. It is a fantastic walking tour!
