Ich bin Keiner José, ein einheimischer Reiseführer aus San Basilio de Palenque, Gründer der Reiseagentur Palenque Tour Represent und stolzer Nachkomme der ersten freien Gemeinde Amerikas. Aufgewachsen bin ich umgeben von Musik, Tradition, mündlich überlieferten Geschichten und der Kraft unseres afrikanischen Erbes. Deshalb widme ich mein Leben der Vermittlung der wahren Geschichte meines Volkes. Es ist mir eine Herzensangelegenheit, zu lehren, wie wir leben, wie wir sprechen und wie wir Widerstand leisten. Auf jeder Tour verbinde ich Geschichte, Kultur, Musik und authentische Erlebnisse, damit die Besucher den Geist von Palenquero hautnah spüren können. Mit mir entdecken Sie die Rhythmen der Trommel, die Geheimnisse der Zöpfe, Spiritualität, die Sprache von Palenquero und die Erinnerung an unsere Vorfahren. Ich bin ein freundlicher und respektvoller Mensch und stolz auf meine Wurzeln. Keiner is not just a local guide. He is a local and a guide. There is no better way go understant Palenque than through the eyes of someone that was born, raised, lives and creates in the town. Deacovering the history and culture of Palenque with Keiner must not be missed. Totaly recommented.
An outstanding experience from start to finish! Keiner went far beyond to show us his culture, the history of his community, and local traditions. He showed us the whole village, including stops with other members of the community along the way, and took us to a delicious place to eat. At night, we stayed in Palenque, and he invited us to celebrate San Sebastian with the whole village, the water celebration that was happening at this moment and was an amazing evening! We felt so included and grateful for this journey and gained a new friend as well as an unforgettable experience. We would recommend Palenque and Keiner’s tour to anyone blindly!!
La experiencia fue maravillosa. Keiner maneja amabilidad, conocimiento y educación, nos brindó una experiencia inolvidable y nos hizo sentir como en casa. No se arrepentirán de este tour que combina cultura, ancestralidad y calidad humana. La comida que nos ofrecieron estuvo deliciosa y a un precio accesible. Importante llevar gorras o sombrillas e hidratación por el fuerte sol.
Keiner was great! With enthusiasm and deep knowledge, he entertained us along our tour of Palenque. He reached out over text before we arrived, so we knew how to find him easily. He prearranged a delicious local lunch and guided us to a variety of interesting stops. He easily answered all of our questions and we all learned so much about Palenque. Keiner obviously cares deeply about his community and wants to share its rich history with outsiders. He made a great tour guide! Wear sun screen and bring small bills for tips you might want to share along the tour.
