The best tour we’ve had through the years it was an absolutely fantastic experience! The food was fresh, flavourful and beautifully presented. Every dish was cooked perfectly and was authentic. Eduardo was like walking the city with an old friend, knowledgeable, attentive and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. Everything was perfect and would gladly do it again with friends next time.

Great guide, he managed to impress us. He knows a lot about the history of every dish presented to us in the evening. We would definitely recommend!

Everything was delightfully and cleverly selected with lots of thought gone into it. The food was delicious and I tried lots of foods I would never have thought to try. This tour was two cultural rituals that define the rhythm of Iberian life: fado and tapas. One feeds the soul. The other feeds everything else. Fado is Portugal’s most emotional export. It’s not just music; it’s a feeling. A deep, aching longing the Portuguese call saudade — a mix of nostalgia, love, loss, and destiny. Picture this: You’re in a dimly lit tavern. The room falls silent. A singer steps forward, backed by the delicate, shimmering sound of 2 Portuguese guitarras. The first note hangs in the air — raw, vulnerable, almost trembling. Ricardo was awesome explaining the food and the songs. If you’re looking for a cultural experience and not just some food tour, suddenly you understand Portugal a little better. Ricardo also was so knowledgeable about the history of the area as we walked through the historic areas before and after the performance.

Trotz des schlechten Wetters haben wir die Tour sehr genossen. Die Unterhaltung war großartig und auch die Informationen von Ricardo waren sehr interessant. Das Arrangement war sehr authentisch und wunderschön, und die Fadolieder waren einfach bezaubernd. Vielen lieben Dank dafür!

Ricardo war ein sehr sympathischer Guide. Es war eine sehr interessante ,informative sowie unterhaltsame Tour, die man nur weiterempfehlen kann. Trotz des schlechten Wetters gingen wir nach dem Fado noch gemeinsam zu einem tollen Aussichtspunkt. Einfach ein toller Abend für uns !

A very nice mix between cuisine and History. A must do tour for Foodie lovers who want to go beyond the beaten track of Portuguese gastronomy. I loved the variety and the pairings coming with it. 5 stars!

I loved how creative this tour was. It was almost as a History lecture of Portugal from the point of view of its food and how the dishes evolved over the centuries. It set the bar high for food tours!

The guide has an impressive knowledge of Portuguese culinary traditions and its historical influences on how the dishes came to be! We went to 5 different places, each with a distinct approach. It’s a lot of food. We were rolling at the end.
