Wonderful tour and tour guide. Marik lead us to many out-of-the ordinary tour spots in Madrid. Each stop included both educational information and personal insights. The stop to taste the local Madrono liquor was a highlight. I followed up with Marin’s recommendation and visited San Francisco Church and it did not disappoint. I highly recommend this tour!!

My wife and I agreed that Marik was one of the best tour-guides we've ever had. He was extremely knowledgable, friendly, and fun. And he had obviously put a lot of thought and passion into crafting a tour and route that maximized our information and entertainment. We didn't have great weather at all, but it didn't matter. We covered a lot of ground without seeming rushed or exhausted, and we learned a lot while being entertained. Marik is an excellent teacher and story-teller and host.

Marik was fabulous. Very interesting and fun. I loved our local stop for a shot in the neighborhood. He was very knowledgeable and held everyone’s interest. The best free tour, I have ever done. Well researched and well explained insides about Madrid put into the wider context of the history of Spain. Nice stories about the citizens of Madrid and a great route. Not a standard tour, Marik created it himself and you notice his passion for history and the aim to show people his city. Book this tour!

Marik was a story teller, historian, and culture aficionado all rolled into one. The historical tour held our interest for 2.5 hours. He wove history, little known facts and a special taste of madrono into a fabulous experience. I highly recommend him.

Finally a comprehensive Spanish history! The tour guide was very knowledgeable in multiple languages and ensures everyone is on the same page, whether its linguistic or cultural understandings. One of the most knowledgeable I've ever had!
