Marik was a story teller, historian, and culture aficionado all rolled into one. The historical tour held our interest for 2.5 hours. He wove history, little known facts and a special taste of madrono into a fabulous experience. I highly recommend him.

Finally a comprehensive Spanish history! The tour guide was very knowledgeable in multiple languages and ensures everyone is on the same page, whether its linguistic or cultural understandings. One of the most knowledgeable I've ever had!

Marik gave us a unique view of Madrid's history, past and present. He is a very easy-going guy and very knowledgeable of the history. I highly recommend this tour to everyone!

Mario wrote this tour himself, and it was perfect for anyone interested in the history of Madrid beyong the Bourbons and Hapsburgs. He went as far back as 711, explaining the history, art, and architectural styles along the way. I appreciated seeing portions of the city wall that would not have been included on other tours. His stories and anecdotes were perfect for the area. Highly recommend!

Marik was a great tour guide! He was super kind and informative and gave the group a bunch of tips and tricks for Madrid. He is very passionate about the city he lives it and sharing it with others. He was also super helpful with providing other recommendations on things to do, places to eat and see, and other tours. My tour with Marik was one of my favorite walking tours I have done. The tour deftly combines the old with the new, creating just the right amount of educational feel with fun and memorable stories. Marik was super professional and prepared, personable, and took time to answer all of our questions, and we left with knowledge we probably wouldn't have gained from any other tour. You can't go wrong with this tour!

This tour was so much fun! The perfect combo of touristy and some BTS scoop about the less known but even more stunning parts of the city. Marik was thoughtful, funny, and went out of his way to give me a tour even though the other participants had canceled. He has designed the tour himself and you can tell just how well thought out the choices are of recommendations both during and after the trip! Plus the stories are wild and make the tour so much more memorable. I would highly recommend!
