The guide was really nice and he knew what he was talking about. It's really much more comfortable to walk around a city as bustling and frankly intimidating as Nairobi with a local to show you around. He provides some interesting history and culture context to the city. He took us to some interesting places. I was a bit disappointed with the tour, not because of the guide, but because of the city. I expected more history but the truth is Nairobi is very very new.

Eric was excellent aand informative. I suggest he be more identifiable (Tshirt or umbrella) as a guru walk leader for safety reasons.

We had a short stop in Nairobi and decided to join a free walking tour. Edwin was punctual, and the walk was excellent. He was very caring, always alert to any potential dangers and making sure we stood in the shade under the strong sun. We walked for three hours, and the time flew by. By the end, we felt like we had already seen the most interesting parts of Nairobi.

Outstanding tour!!! Edwin showed us so much of Nairobi in such an entertaining, and realistic way. We walk through local parks, and downtown. We went by the kids, making all the Instagram dance videos. His style and level of communication were excellent and I feel like we got to see a glimpse of Nairobi. I would highly recommend this to anyone!

William was BRILLIANT!!! He took us to really cool places that we never would have gone to ourselves (and we hadn’t read about in a guide book either!). Highly recommend!

Great! We went on the matatu with disco experience. We spike a lot about Society and went on to the several markets ons uptown and downtown.

Luke is legit, he's from Kibera and said hello to someone about every 2 minutes. He gave a lot of good information and the access I wanted when I booked the tour: the chance to sit down with two different locals and ask them about their lives. One didn't speak great English, so Luke translated. I felt safe throughout the tour. There's a bit of commercialism, a food stop and a jewelry stop, but there was no pressure to buy and they were both local community-focused groups. Visiting a slum is fraught with opportunities for one group to use another. This one is done right.
