Our walking tour guide was Erick, who has been a resident of Nairobi for 20 years. He was an excellent guide who showed showed us around downtown and uptown. So many facts! So much history. We felt like we got a real Nairobi experience.

Guru guides offers a great city tour around the highlight. There where no other tourists. So it become a private tour. The guide explianed a lot about the history, main events, the social systems, transport system and the politic system. And some tips dinertime. We end in a shop.

Absolutamente recomendable. Mi familia no estaba muy motivada con estas actividades y salieron encantados. La mejor manera de conocer los entresijos de la vida en Kenia y cosas q no puedes leer en los libros . John habla fenomenal español y su estilo es muy ameno. Y además nos sentimos súper seguros durante todo el recorrido.

So we booked on very short notice, the evening before the walk. Even though Daniel himself was not available, he organized another guide called Ibrahim. Ibrahim was very knowledgeable about aspects of Nairobi's history and could tell you a lot about the buildings in the city. He was also very considerate and paused explanations so my girlfriend could translate for her mom. We are very happy with Ibrahim's tour and did not notice the 2,5 h pass by. He could answer most of our questions and of those he did not know he was humble enough to say "I don't know" which I really appreciate. Overall, I would Not hesitate with Daniel again. We had a great experience.

Daniel was very good in communicating with us beforehand and helping us reach the linkup point. He was extremely knowledgeable about the history and politics of the city and country, and kept us entertained throughout the tour. He was very protective of our safety and made sure we didn’t wear any necklaces in crowded areas and protected our cell phones from theft. Overall, it was a great experience and we appreciate his hospitality during our first visit to Africa!
