Elias is a very proactive guide. He reached out to our group a few days prior to the tour to suggest places we could go once we landed in Chongqing. He also shared information packs about Chongqing to help us refer to during the tour which provided plenty of context to his tour narratives. He was very patient with our 6 year old and made so many cool, hidden stops and explanations to entertain both adults and kids! Overall, we had a great experience with Elias and would definitely recommend him to anyone visiting Chongqing for the first time.

Elias was a fantastic guide and I'd highly recommend his tour to anyone visiting Chongqing. Being a Chongqing local, he was able to share not just the history and culture of the city, but also plenty of insights into what everyday life is like here. It felt less like a scripted tour and more like exploring the city with someone who genuinely knows and loves the place. The tour covers a lot of ground and involves plenty of walking, which is honestly one of the best ways to experience Chongqing. Along the way, Elias pointed out things I would have completely missed on my own and provided great context on how the city developed into what it is today. A great mix of history, culture, local life, and exploration. If you want to get beyond the usual tourist highlights and gain a better appreciation of Chongqing, this tour is well worth your time. Just make sure you bring a good pair of walking shoes. You'll need them.

Very nice evening walk with Lisa which included the drone show as well. Lisa knows a lot and is pleasant to talk to! We also saw locations not on the "official" itinerary as I had already been to some.
