Free walking tours in Quito

Andrea met us at the church in the center of town. She then walked us to her little of paradise. She took us past a wall that displayed many of the local birds. After that we entered her conservation project. It was very informative and she has such a wonderful vision. She is super relaxed and didn’t rush us at all. We enjoy the explanations. She was a great wealth of info on the local places to visit to get the most out of our time in Mindo.

Sebastian was incredible. Very knowledgeable! I was the only person on the tour. Chocolate tasting was amazing, we tried so many! Great info and discussion. Great locations!

Marlon was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the foods of Ecuador. He is also a former chef and has a good understanding of the history of the country and the role that food plays in.

Luis is a wonderful tour guide. I got a lot of information about the history of Quito, about aspects of the present situation in Ecuador and some practical pieces of advice which are helpful for tourists. Luis is enthusiastic and friendly. I highly recomment to book tours with him.

Oscar was a terrific tour guide! He was knowledgeable, friendly, and fun to be around. He was generous with his time and very attentive to our needs. We recommend Oscar highly and without reservation!

Robert was very nice and took us to intere interesting places. We tried a variety of local food. Robert spoke English well and was able to answer most of our questions, I just wish he was a litle more engaging and had some more information.

Really enjoyed the tour with Ivan! I think it was one of the most complete walking tours I did in Latin America, and it was pretty special to get to know such a beautiful city like Quito with someone who has a lot to share, that it was Ivan. Super friendly, super fun guru/guide and we had the chance to prove different fruits, drinks and chocolates from Ecuador and have a really nice immersive tour! Loved it, can't recommend it enough. Ask for Ivan and you will not be disappointed. He knows the city (and the beers) very well. He is easy to talk to, knows a ton about Quito, and made the entire tour completely fun and informative! I recommend to walk Quito town with Alex. It is much more fun than just walking by oneself. She keeps talking even while walking from one view spot to the other. She explained about street, architecture, history etc. I also liked the shops she picked up. It was a very good choice.

Robert was superb guide. His knowledge of the city, culture, food and regional specialities was amazing. Excellent introduction to the food and people of Quito.

Daniela is an exceptional tour guide. She is very well prepared and a wonderful person. After finish my tour with her in the morning, I received a cancellation of a second tour to "Middle of the world" (Alejandro - "PRO tour guide"). In spite of I was just 1 person, she didnt doubt and supported me to do this second tour. I really recognize this has been one of the best tours I have made around the world thanks to Daniela!!

Alejandro was amazing. The tour was at a comfortable pace packed with laughter and very interesting stories and facts regarding Quito. The fruit tasting at the market and the tour of the varies food stalls will make you want to stop and eat. Views from the mountain are perfect especially on a blue sky day. (We were very fortunate). We can’t recommend Alejandro enough.
