¡Excelente tour! Me acompañaron cuatro guías (Brandon, Roberto, Gabriela y Carlos), todos fueron súper amables, divertidos y pacientes. Se notaba que les encantaba compartir la historia y cultura de El Salvador, y además dominaban muchísimo la información. Me hicieron sentir muy cómoda y acompañada durante todo el recorrido. Lo recomiendo 100% si quieres conocer el centro de San Salvador✨💙

Carlos was great. He was very attentive , expressed passion for his work and the tour. We had genuine experiences trying local cuisine edp like being able to make our own pupusas- great oppportunity to learn then eat our food ; coffee tasting was good; going to market and seeing and trying local fruits plus trying local beer/alcohol made the experience very special. We were a small group and made it all the more positive exierience. Recommend this tour with Carlos.

Excellent guide - Dave Méndez with such passion and entertaining way of sharing knowledge. Answered questions readily and made the toyr both educational and interesting. I have done these types of tours in other countries and Dave by far is one of the best in sharing information in a way that makes it memorable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour with Dave. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about his country. He shared true stories and in depth history of San Salvador at each site. Dave's warmth and inviting manner made us feel like we were walking through the streets of San Salvador with a good friend. We highly recommend this walking tour as well as his gastronomy tour which highlighted the delicious local dishes in San Salvador!

Carlos was a fantastic guide. The walk itself was very well structured and the information had the right level: enough to learn a lot about the (recent) history of El Salvador and some interesting places in Salt Salvador and not too much to keep everyone alert 😉. Carlos did also a great job to adapt his walk to the group of young adults - they were very enthusiastic about the tour. So thank you Carlos!!!!

Amazing Walking Tour!! I learned a lot about the history of the country and got to know the "new" El Salvador. Dave was not only really knowledgeable, but a really good storyteller and a really fun guy to spend time with. Definitely recommend!

It was a super super nice experience. At the end due to low season we were just two person at the tour and Dave were so friendly, happy and patient. He answered every question and at the end the tour went over one hour longer. Really amazing. Would definitely recommend it

This tour was an excellent introduction into the history, present day, and future of El Salvador. I took the tour on my first day in the country and learned a ton! David is a dynamic presenter and very passionate about introducing travelers to El Salvador. He has been doing the tour since 2018. He shares his own story as a testament to the history shared in the tour. We also got to taste some horchata and then were directed to a lovely pupusa restaurant. Definitely an excellent use of 3 hours!

Dave is an absolute rockstar. I was the only person who showed up and he still enthusiastically ran the full 2.5 hour tour with me. He’s fluent in English (lived in US before), extremely personable and easy to talk to. He’s also a huge patriot of his country and talks about everything with passion. If you’re looking for THE walking tour in San Salvador, this one is it without a doubt!!
