Free walking tours in Taipei

Vincent was our tour guide and he is extremely knowledgeable about the history of Taiwan. Clearly enjoys what he does and it was a fun trip He showed us a few spots in Taipei and shared the history about the monuments. Being a Monday and morning most places were closed for visits.

Our guide, Vincent, provided tremendous historical information in this fascinating country and made it easy to see why Taiwan is so multicultural in food, architecture, and more. For those who don’t like long walks, this is a tour for you lots of information and a short distance covered. This Tour is a great introduction to the city of Taipei.

I liked that we had several bathroom breaks. It was convenient and not many tours allow for that.

Good & informative Taiwan history tour

Taile was a great tour guide. She took us to several significant spots to explain the history of Taiwan in a most engaging manner. After her descriptions, everything we saw seemed to come alive more. She gave us plenty of time to ask questions and see the sights. One of the best walking tours I have done. I feel so much more informed about background of Taiwanese culture, history, politics, and architectures after this tour. Bravo!

This was a good history walking tour for Taiwan. I learnt the answer to a question I didn’t know I’d later have while on my trip (why it’s so hard to find a bin in Taiwan) and heard about the influence Japan had on Taiwan in the past. If you enjoy learning about history and are new to Taiwan, this is a good walking tour to try.

J'ai beaucoup aimé la partie sur la politique pour mieux comprendre l'histoire et les différents points de vue des taiwanais. Having done a few of these now, Vincent really kept up with the European standards and did a fantastic job despite the rain that lasted the entire tour!

James was an awesome tour guide. So much information on the tour plus suggestions for places to go and see. Do not laugh at his jokes.

Great guide at explaining all history, great english

Nice walk through some of the old parts of Taipei including a local marketplace. Information about the places in the form of historical story telling and the guide's personal family experience with the history made the walk very interesting. Recommend it highly.
