I really enjoyed the tour with Manish. He told us a lot about Udaipur and showed us so much. I highly recommend the tour to everyone.

Prince (ja echter Name) ist ein netter Tourguide der einen durch die Altstadtgassen in Udaipur führt und dabei auch die ein oder andere Gasse benutzt die andere Touristen verpassen würden. Trotzdem sind wir an allen relevanten Sehenswürdigkeiten vorbeigekommen und ich habe auf Nachfrage auch sehr viele Infos bekommen über die Stadt, ihre Kultur und Geschichte. Prince kann auch auf Nachfrage sogut wie alles organisieren hier in Udaipur, also auch ein guter Kontakt für mehrere Tage.

Jay was a great guide! He walked us around Udaipur and gave us an interesting history of the city, the temples, and religion. He answered all of our questions and recommended some great movies and books so we could learn more about what we were most interested in. Would highly recommend

I highly recommend this tour of Udaipur with Manish. It was definitely a highlight of our trip to India. We visited local areas we wouldn’t know to visit, and Manish was a fantastic tour guide - really interesting and knowledgeable and every turn of the walk had something fascinating to see and experience. We have done quite a few tours and walks in India now, but this one with Manish was by far the best.

The tour with Manish was very good. After visiting the temple we walked through the the residential part of old town. Afterwards we visited the produce market and the spice market. He shared many interesting facts about Udaipur, its culture and traditions. He also bought us snacks and masala chai. Highly recommended!

We’ve done Guru Walks in other countries and they never disappoint - today’s was just brilliant! Manesh explained what we were going to do then we did it - he answered questions; told stories and explained the history of Udaipur and its architecture. We met Udaipur people whose skills in demonstrating and manufacturing pottery, metal work, foodstuffs were exceptional. Manesh took care of them and us so we didn’t have any pressure to tip or buy. In fact he bought us masala tea and crisps! The pace was just right, lots of variety - we loved the vegetable market and we learnt a huge amount about real people, customs and culture. Manesh didn’t disappoint; insightful, patient, funny and a great guide! We highly recommended him - thanks Manesh

We had a very nice and interesting tour through the residential area of the Old Town with nice insights in culture and lifestyle. Manish showed us some local food specialties as well. Thanks a lot!

Manish provided profound cultural, historical and architectural background of Udaipur and showed both touristic and non-touristical places explaining the ordinary life of local people. I had a fantastic tour with Idrish! I would highly recommend. Because it was Holi, we flexed around to make the tour what would feel good with the crowds. I got to purchase spices and learn about spices. I really enjoyed seeing the city, hearing stories, and Idrish’s kindness and welcoming personality. I had such a good time that I did a tour to the countryside for sunset the next day which was also wonderful. I would definitely do again.

Manish took us on a wonderful tour of the old city! He is super professional and gave us an incredible insiders look into local culture, brought us to many places we wouldnt have found on our own, and I especially appreciated that he encouraged our interaction with the locals and artisans (in a very responsible and ethical manner- and without any feeling of expectation or pressure to buy anything!!). He explained about many aspects that I wouldnt have thought to ask about, but also answered any of our questions that we did ask. He also gave important historical context but without overloading on too much information, and i also appreciated the architecture explanations (Manish went beyond just naming a specific style (as previous guides have done) and instead pointed out different specific elements each time, which was fascinating and perfect). He also speaks wonderful English and I felt comfortable communicating with Manish easily. Lastly he showed us great spots to eat and gave us practical tips- a wonderful introduction to the city! We were a small group and in my opinion this also allowed for a great tour as well Thanks Manish!

We loved our tour through Udaipur with Manish! He told us the history of the city's neighborhoods and introduced us to the local cuisine, letting us try foods such as Masala Chai and Gulab Jamun. It was great touring the city like a local for a few hours!

I found the tour very interesting and informative,so much knowledge of local customs and the people who live in the old town. Very nice to stop and chat over some chi tea ( in clay pots !) and snacks freshly cooked .Also very refreshing not to be taken anywhere where there was an expectation to buy local produce . The Temple visit was also very interesting . I would recommend this tour if you want an authentic view of local life in the wonderful city of Udaipur.

Prince was very friendly and incredibly informative. He delivered exactly what you want from a tour, a mixture of personal storytelling and historical facts. He took us through routes that he knows and would be hard for visitors to navigate. He was also flexible, happy to slow down or pick up the pace based on what we found more interesting. I would highly recommend Prince as a guide, he will go out of his way to ensure you enjoy your tour and beyond!

Our guide, Prince, is a good storyteller and generally an interesting and positive person. We visited interesting places that weren't even on my shortlist. I would recommend him as your guide in Udaipur.
