"OXAPAMPINO TOUR"

Duration: 4 hours approximately Departure: 10:00 AM and 02:30 PM Start of the tour to the Chontabamba District; In this beautiful place we will visit the “FLORALP” Dairy Processing Plant where we will observe its facilities and taste the delicious dairy derivatives. Continuing with the tour we will go up to the “LA FLORIDA” Viewpoint, where after a short walk, we will have a spectacular panoramic view of the city of Oxapampa. Our next point of visit will be the "TUNQUI CAVE", place that puts the touch of adventure and mysticism on the tour, there we can observe the capricious formations of stalactites, stalagmites and various figures that will put our imagination to work. Then we will visit the artisanal trout farm "LA CUMBRE" where we will appreciate trout throughout its life cycle. After a few minutes we will get to know the “EL WHARAPO” trapiche, one of the few that is left in the place full of a lot of history and tradition, we will observe the whole process for the production of the traditional cane brandy and the typical drink called guarapo. Following the tour we will enter the heart of the District of CHONTABAMBAplace where we will know its attractive park, its church that has a very typical Germanic architecture, and finally we will reach the suspension bridge built on the Chorobamba River, where we will take a refreshing dip.
