About the tour

If you are here in Gothenburg, it is because you have decided to visit one of the most beautiful cities in Sweden, which is yet to be discovered. Its bohemian and charming air, its gastronomy and also its friendly inhabitants, will make you have a memorable experience in Gothenburg.

On this Free Walking Tour, I will be very happy to show you what to see in Gothenburg, so that you can discover why it is called the Great Jewel of Sweden. I will also tell you where to have the best Fika and try the best seafood in the city;). Our tour will include:

1. Läppstiftet, the famous icon of the city, known for having the shape of a lipstick.

2. The Gothenburg Opera, I will tell you curious details about its history and state-of -the-art architecture.

3. Brogyllen konditori or Golden Bridge to taste the best Fika in Gothenburg.

4. Feskekörka or the Fish Church, famous for having the best seafood in Sweden. I will show you how its architecture resembles the one of the Gothic churches.

5. Kungsparken Park, its groves and canals will be the main protagonists of this stop.

6. We will finish our Free Tour in the Götaplatsen Square or Gothenburg Cultural Center, famous for having the Statue of Poseidon and surrounded by the Concert Hall, the Art Museum and the City Theater.

And if you still want to know more, I'll leave you at the Hasselblad Museum, yes ... the one from the famous Hasselblad camera, which NASA took photos in its first visit to the Moon in 1969.
