I'm Alex, a bilingual Romanian-English speaker who loves travelling the world! I finished university in 2014 in Bucharest, Romania and then I moved to southern China for an internship. I worked as an English teacher in Shenzhen, China, for 2 years and then I moved to Osaka, Japan in 2016. I can speak English, Romanian and Japanese. I've traveled in almost 25 countries in both Asia and Europe. I've been in Japan for almost 4 years and I've been fascinated by the Japanese culture ever since I stepped foot in this country. I can tell you what it's like to work here, live here, blend in with the locals and even travel on your own! Japan is an amazing country to explore and I can help you explore it! I look forward to meeting you all!

Tour description

Hi! My name is Alex and welcome to my tour! This tour takes about 90-120 minutes and is about 2-3 kilometers long. The tour starts at the Umeda Sky Building and ends at the Tsuyu Tenjinsha Shrine.

I will tell you some tips and tricks about traveling in Osaka, show you a nice view of the city, walk down a Japanese “shotengai” (arcade) where I will recommend some nice drinking and dining spots, and then finish the tour at the Tsuyu Tenjinsha Shrine.

We will have short breaks between the different locations and you can use the public restrooms and the convenient stores there. You will learn both culture and travel tips from this trip.

My walking tours in Osaka are free walking tours so that everybody, regardless of budget, can discover this amazing city. If you want to, you can tip your guide at the end. That’s it!
