Night Tour Osaka

A very good tour if you're looking for the social history of Osaka

This is an excellent tour showing parts of Osaka not usually visited by a tourist. Ricco gave us lots of very interesting facts and details about Japanese modern society together with some great food recommendations.

Die Tour ist absolut empfehlenswert! Sie ist sehr ungewöhnlich und beleuchtet wirklich die dunklen Seiten Osakas/Japans. Rico hat alles super spannend erzählt und zeitgleich auch unterhaltsam mit kleinen Witzen aufgelockert. Er hat sich mit jedem Teilnehmer und jeder Teilnehmerin mal unterhalten. Es war ein absolut gelungener Ausflug!

Fantastic and shocking tour - an absolute must if you have time for an evening tour of Osaka.

It was amazing to see the places and the experiences. Overall amazing.

I really liked the tour and found the information provided super interesting, opening up chapters less known of Japanese culture. It seemed to me that everything was done respectfully for the locals, which for me is alwys very important. Matt has been a great guide, delivering interesting and at times heavy information always in an engaging way, making sure to end the tour in a lighter note. Thanks :)

Very insightful tour, with a lot of information I would not otherwise get. Fully recommend it if you want to experience other sides of Japan’s socio-economic environment.

This is not your average tour. It highlights both the dark and light side of Osaka. It was thought provoking, interesting and fun. Nikki (hope l have remembered the correct name) made Osaka at night come alive. Highly recommended.

We were so glad that we were able to do this Osaka by night tour with Matt. He spoke about the dark side of Osaka, the homelessness and what the government is doing to attend to this problem. We walked to the Nishinari ward, the red light district Tobita Shinchi, showed us the Tamade market, the karaoke area and around the Shinsekai area. It was an eye opening experience! Matt is very knowledgeable, friendly, spoke clearly and answered all the questions we had. We highly recommend everyone to do this tour.

What an eye opening experience! Great way to see and learning about different parts of Osaka that you may wander into but not know what you’re seeing. Matt was a great guide with much information about history of the darker side of Osaka.

Very intressting

This was the best walking tour I have done in my life. Rico is so well educated and gave a loooot of information. He showed us the hidden parts of Osaka and things you’d not be able to learn in 2 hours!! Oo kini Rico!!

It was very nice experience. Mat was very friendly and inspite the fact that there were 18 people in the group he talked to everybody never rushing and answered all questions even if they were not related to tour.i I will strongly recommend people to attend his tour

I did a night tour in Shinjuku and few weeks before having this tour, and I was afraid it'd be more of the same, but no! This tour was unique, interesting and unusual. It combined history, fun facts and detailed explanation of processes in the Japanese society over the years. Our guru was great, tons of knowledge, great English, great speaker, thanks❤️
