About the tour

This tour offer a leisure walk around Antigua, which is listed as a Heritage site. It will be an excellent approach to the city, focusing on its history and architecture. This narrated walk allows you to appreciate interesting facts about the most important monuments, and to het an understanding of Guatemala and Central America's Cultural Importance.

You will explore the City Hall Palace, known today as la Muni; you will enjoy panoramic views of The General's Captains Palace and continue with a full visit of the magnificent Jesuits Convent, today a well-known cultural center. After about two hours, a coffee break is offered at one of the most prestigious coffee shops of the city.

Afterwards, we will continue walking the main streets and have some panoramic views of the arch, Capuchinas Convent and more. We will visit the Catedral and its impressive ruins, and last but not least, the Jade Museum and factory, which is a place that will take you deep into the Mayan traditions.
