Inspirations of Hemingway in Havana
Tour description
The Nobel Prize-winning writer, Ernest Hemingway, lived in Havana for years, leaving his mark on the island and making Cuba leave his mark on his writings.
He fell in love with Old Havana and frequented the nightlife that he enjoyed so much. In San Francisco de Paula he found his house, Finca Vigía, and the peace he needed so much to write. In Cojímar he found inspiration and a port he could use for fishing, another hobby he loved.
We will visit these three places, where we will talk about why Hemingway found inspiration in them. We will enter 2 museums at an additional cost: his room at the Hotel Ambos Mundos (5CUC) and Finca Vigía (5CUC).
Note: If we are more than 5 clients on the tour, we will have to rent an extra car to visit Finca Vigía (5CUC)
