Tour description

Bored of traditional tours that only repeat what appears on the internet? We too. We invite you to discover one of the most luxurious neighborhoods in Latin America created by some of the richest families in the world 100 years ago. We walk through some sectors of Recoleta, which are the ones that creates this idea of Buenos Aires as the “Paris of South America”. We will see how the idea of distinction did not end in life, visiting one of the most luxurious cemeteries in the world, full of luxurious vaults and sculptures. You will be surprised when we talk about the way of life of these aristocratic families who managed to concentrate political, economic and military power in very few hands for almost 50 years. Not only will we walk through some of the most visited areas of the cemetery, but we will also observe and comment on some vaults that lead us to show hidden facets of Argentine history. Then, we go through the main square of the neighborhood, which shows us the Franciscan origin of this area and some of the oldest trees in the city. Finally, we will finish the tour in a panoramic point from where we will observe a hidden sector of the neighborhood, from which we can understand the contrasts that cross the history of the city.
