Free Walking Tour Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp
Tour description
The Free Tour Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp takes you to visit the facilities of the Nazi concentration camp par excellence in Berlin. Together with our guide in Spanish, we will reveal the cruel history that enclose its walls, and its subsequent evolution as a special Soviet camp. After a 45-minute train ride, we will arrive at our destination to discover the creepiest atrocities that were carried out by the Nazis. Once in the Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp we will visit the most relevant places inside, such as the entrance door to the field with the inscription "Arbeit macht frei" ("Work will set you free"), the watchtowers, the courtyard magazine center, barracks 38, nursing rooms, punishment cells, the old gas station “Station Z” or the shooting area. We will also visit the Liberation Memorial, in honor of the victims of the Sachsenhausen concentration camp, and the obelisk in memory of the liberation of the camp, erected by the Soviet Union. Within the Sachsenhausen Museum we will continue to deepen, from respect, this paradigmatic place of the political and racist terror of the twentieth century. Not included: - Full-day ABC transport ticket (previously purchased) - € 2 contribution per adult for the foundation in charge of the memorial monument.
