Tour description

It will be for history!!
Girona is one of the most beautiful and least known cities in Spain, but it has a lot to tell. With over 2,000 years of history, we still have parts of the Roman , Carolingian and medieval walls, and you can walk along them to see the city from the rooftops! We also preserve the original layout of Via Augusta Romana and a Jewish quarter considered one of the best preserved from the Middle Ages in Europe . A bridge designed by Gustave Eiffel , labyrinthine alleys that take you to other times, squares with arcades, monuments such as the cathedral with the widest Gothic nave in the world, the Arab baths, the "Cul de la LLeona" , the Basilica of Sant Feliu , the Sant Pere de Galligans monastery among others.

With this tour you will enjoy a complete tour of the Monumental and Medieval neighborhood of Girona , the Jewish quarter (Call), where I will also tell you the funniest legends of the city or some curiosities of the area!
Come on, cheer up! I'll be waiting for you in Girona very soon!!

Girona is really cool. This tour failed to showcase this. The guide walked slow and didn’t show the city as well as expected.

Miguel was a great guide and really knew his material about his home city of Girona! We chose a very busy day (Flower festival) and due to big crowds everywhere it was not always easy to hear everything. This got better as the tour continued. Would recommend.

We were a party of 12 people from the UK. Most of us had never been to Girona before but our guide Eduardo made the tour, interesting, informative and amusing. I would recommend this tour highly and Eduardo in particular. Many thanks JH
