I cannot recommend this tour enough! We had an absolutely brilliant time. This is a great way to see the sites. Herbie was the best guide. He was knowledgeable, friendly, entertaining and enthusiastic about the city.

Lovely and entertaining tour

Today I went on a tour with Herbie, and I was honestly really surprised by how amazing the experience was. Everything was well organized, the atmosphere was great, and I had so much fun. It turned out to be much better than I expected

Herbie was my guide and he was just amazing. I actually came home to tell my family so many of the insightful stories he told me. He was just so kind and open, funny, and had just the greatest fun facts and stories to share. I would honestly repeat it if I come back to London. 10/10. Would recommend

The tour was very fun and entertaining

We loved James. He made us feel at ease right from the get go and was super easy to talk to and shared interesting stories and really had a great energy. He answered our questions so well and never made us feel silly for asking anything. Highly recommend him!

Andrew was very dynamic and had lots of interesting facts to share that were the typical tour statistics. Tour really helped us get our bearings for this part of the city and pointed out spots to come back to explore.

Our guide, Jill, was incredibly enthusiastic and knowledgeable. She ensured we had the perfect view to watch the Changing of the Guards and kept us engaged with fascinating stories throughout the tour. She thoughtfully allowed time for us to take pictures along the way as well. Even though it was cold and we were a small group, her energy and motivation never faded. It was quite a long walk, but she shared important and interesting facts about every corner we passed. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

It was our first time in London and we decided to join the London Essentials tour with Theo. It was honestly a very good decision. Theo is a great guide. He is very kind, open and easy to talk to. From the beginning he encouraged everyone to ask questions and he was always happy to answer. Even when someone had small language problems, he was patient and really tried to understand. You can feel that he truly listens and cares about the group. During the walk he shared not only historical facts, but also practical tips about the places we were passing. He told interesting stories, but also small everyday things (like feeding squirrels in the park), which made the tour feel more real and less “textbook”. He has a very good sense of humour and adds small comments that make the stories more alive. You can clearly see that he is a history nerd in a positive way – he knows many details and explains them in an easy way. The route was very well planned and we walked in a calm, natural pace. We never felt rushed. We were travelling with a child and Theo noticed that immediately. He talked to him, checked if everything was ok and made sure he was included. That was really nice. He also often offered to take photos for us and showed great photo spots and places where you can see London from a slightly different perspective. Without this tour we would not have discovered some of these extra places and we would not feel so relaxed while exploring the city. These two hours went very fast and were really enjoyable. At the end Theo also gave us good recommendations for food and pubs – and we actually used them later the same day. I can really recommend this tour with Theo, especially if it’s your first time in London.

Ethan was absolutely amazing! His knowledge and enthusiasm for history and culture were truly exceptional. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting London. What really stood out was that he even knew interesting facts about the cities and countries the members of our group were from. That level of knowledge and personal touch shows how dedicated and well-prepared he is.

We joined Andrew’s Westminster walking tour expecting a pleasant stroll and a few historical facts. What I got was part history lesson, part comedy show, and part sorcery. Andrew has the rare ability to explain centuries of British political drama while casually making objects disappear. One minute he’s telling us about scandal, spies and statesmen, the next he’s performing a magic trick that leaves you questioning both physics and your own eyesight. Frankly, if Parliament ever needs someone to make problems vanish, they know who to call. The stories were fascinating, the humour perfectly timed, and the magic tricks somehow linked cleverly to the history around us. It’s not easy to compete with Westminster for drama, but Andrew manages it. Educational? Absolutely. Entertaining? Without doubt. Slightly bewildering in the best possible way? 100%. Highly recommended — whether you like history, magic, or just enjoy being pleasantly confused in the company of a very witty guide.
