From Oviedo, get to know Asturias from A to Z
I have traveled and worked in Europe, and on many occasions, I have had to explain what Asturias is, what is different about it ... And I always wondered if travelers really want to know or are satisfied with the clichés of cider and the Reconquest. Now that I can consider myself a veteran guide, I really want to convey what Asturias is and why it is the way it is. Let's get out of the clichés, let's get into the city.
Tour description
Have you ever wondered why Asturians are so proud of it? And why is their gastronomy, their customs, their way of speaking different? And what makes this land have strong international ties in times of political emergency? And where does the social sentiment of Asturians come from? And the love of art? All over the city there are traces of the historical vicissitudes that make Asturians the way they are. We are going to discover them and get to know Asturias well. We leave the Plaza de la Catedral and we are going to talk about gastronomy looking at Gascona, we pass by the University, we go to Riego to talk about the Carlists, we continue with revolutions in Cimadevilla, we see the Fontán and we know the most popular, and we finish in the Escandalera and in Campoamor to talk about art, culture and the future.
